Taking our friendship to yet ANOTHER level

Ok Delia,

One thing you'll realize (if you haven't already) is that I like to share my ailments or abnormalities to my very close friends and SOME family.

So here is my most recent...

So I yet again have a killer sore throat. It's as bad as it was last time in March. I had a small hope that I was pregnant again because last time I got this sick was when I was prego.... but I haven't checked because I'm sure that's not the case LOL. Most people don't have symptoms of tonsillitis anytime they get pregnant LOL! So I'm going to the doctor tomorrow...meh

So I downloaded some more songs from Indelible Grace Music. I downloaded the song Jesus With Thy Church Abide, but what's cool about the song is at the very end they have a few lines from a different hymn called Oft in Danger, Oft in Woe or it's sometimes called Oft in Sorrow, Oft in Woe. It's so beautiful with the combination of hymns together. If you don't have it already I would encourage you to get it. I would send it to you, but I buy my stuff off of iTunes and it doesn't allow me to share stuff [*angry fists*]

We recieved your Harry David gift package. You guys are so sweet. You totally didn't have to do that. It was a treat doing a "sleep over" with you Davies LOL. Those pears are amazing!

Talk to you soon!

  1. Hi Sarah,

Wow...I just got an up-close shot of the inside of your mouth. I'm not sure what to say to that ;)

I guess you didn't have any exciting news from your appointment...I figure you would have called if you had prego news. I'm praying that God would make you a fruitful vine and give you children like olive shoots around your table (Psalm 128).

We have 5 CDs by Indelible Grace (I think that's all they've done), so I know exactly what song you're talking about. I didn't know that the ending to that hymn was actually from a different hymn.

And I'm glad you enjoyed your gift basket. I have yet to try the actual fruit from Harry & David (I've just had their snacks & sweets), but everyone who's had it says they love it! I think I'll get one for Aaron for his birthday this year, and then I can enjoy it, too!
Sarah, I am loving my new house here in Ohio. I love cooking in my kitchen. I even enjoy cleaning my house! God has blessed us with a great place to call home. We are still waiting and praying for our house in Upland to sell. And we are going to visit a new church this upcoming Sunday. I don't like going around from church to church. I just want to settle down somewhere. And since we've been going to Covenant OPC 4 weeks in a row now, I've started connecting with the people there, so it's just awkward to think that, after being invited into their homes, I may never see them again because we may end up attending a different church.
We look forward to the next Davies-Hettervik sleepover...this time at our place in Ohio!

    Talk to you soon!
    Love,
    Delia
